Obtained Bachelor of Science degree from Calcutta University in 1986 and perused Law Course also from Calcutta University and got L.L.B. degree in 1992. Joined Legal Profession in August 1992. Practiced till September 2009 in the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta. Joined Judicial service as direct recruitment in October 2009 as Additional District Judge. From 2009 to March, 2014 served in this post in various districts. From April 2014 to October 2016 posted as District Judge of Hooghly and Malda. Served as Registrar, West Bengal Administrative Tribunal from November, 2016 to September, 2020. From October 2020 to September 2021 posted as CBI judge Asansol. From October 2021 to August 2022 posted as Judge, Bench-II of City Civil Court, Calcutta. From 31st August till date posted as Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Calcutta.
